Legacy of Love

Per Stirpes – Per Capita

Understanding these two legal terms can prevent ill will among your beloved and prevent the chain of family love and loyalty from breaking over the distribution of your estate after you’re gone.
You might have hired someone and believe you’re okay. As a trusted advisor to seniors, I always advise my clients to not take my word for everything and do their own research. It only takes a bit of time. Their security is critical to them in the years ahead.

Take a few minutes to read about these two legal terms.
You worked hard for years and have assets to leave but as you know by now, love and those you have around you are what really matters.
Do the family a favor, for those who don’t yet know what truly matters and take a few minutes to make sure you’ve set up the distribution of your estate properly. Prevent the possibility of there being any confusion or something to fight amongst once you’re gone.
Leave a legacy of love.

Meet Gloria

She wanted security now and for the future

Here we are at the local Farmer’s Market. She was independent for her whole life, until she was not any longer. All her years of focusing on paying off her mortgage, so she could be comfortable at this age, did not happened as she planned.

When we met, she wanted her independence back. Her Pension and social security income were not cutting it any longer. Additional costs such as dental expenses and home repairs kept popping up.

“WHEN WE MET, SHE WANTED HER INDEPENDENCE BACK. HER PENSION AND SOCIAL SECURITY INCOME WERE NOT CUTTING IT ANY LONGER. ADDITIONAL COSTS SUCH AS DENTAL EXPENSES AND HOME REPAIRS KEPT POPPING UP.”

She was somewhat reliant on her daughter for the little extras for quite sometime–a bag of Cheetos is an extra!

She was a strong woman and did not like that one bit! Again, like you, she knew that a Reverse Mortgage was a possible solution. her reason for hesitating was fear. Her fear was not for herself, it was the others pictured with us, her granddaughter who is her best buddy. Her granddaughter and her daughter live with her. She was afraid of losing their security after she was gone.

When it comes to our loved ones, our concern for their well being usually comes before our own.  My job was to show Gloria and her daughter all of the pertinent details that ensures they would be safe in their home after she passed. That was all she needed.

She asked many questions, she listened and did her own due diligence. She learned all she needed to know and finally, at last, she had her plan to gain her independence back. I still have her voicemail message exclaiming with joy, “YAHOO, it’s in the bank!”

“YAHOO, it’s in the bank!”

Is there something you’re waiting for before you get the answers to your questions about a Reverse Mortgage? There is really no need to wait any longer and no harm in making a new friend. You and I will talk about your fears and your needs and desires.

You can read about me and my why HERE to see if we’d be a good fit. It is always great to have someone to talk to who knows and cares about your struggles. More importantly, someone you can trust, who has your best interest in mind. Who wants to see you happy!

Your struggle is real. I know firsthand. I’d be honored to be a part of eliminating the struggle from your life. Don’t spend another day uncertain about the future.

Meet Shirley

Her need, a safe “Grandma’s Taxi”

Shirley, had the same hesitation and fear as you. When she was referred to me she was doing quite well on most accounts. It was her car that had issues. Her old faithful 1999 Toyota was on its last leg. The engine kept overheating. After being broken down on the road for the third time, she decided to look into a reverse mortgage.

Her Pension and Social Security payments did not allow for anything extra or for her to qualify for a conventional home loan. Shirley found herself in the predicament of having to choose between two fears.

A big part of her daily joy was being Grandma’s Taxi.  She would take her granddaughter to and from school each day.

“A big part of her daily joy was being Grandma’s Taxi.  She would take her granddaughter to and from school each day.”

Imagine her fear of breaking down on the side of the road with such precious cargo. Just like you, she had a fear about getting a Reverse Mortgage. Understandably, as a Senior, what you need most is security. You might not have a lot of extra money but your home can help provide that security.

However, your home just might be all the security you do have so the fear is real. But, have you heard? Fear is: False Evidence Appearing Real.

Shirley’s fear was real because her car kept breaking down. Shirley’s fears of a Reverse Mortgage were addressed by meeting with me, and she got the answers to her questions. She moved out of fear and into hope.

After participating in the mandated Government counseling on Reverse Mortgages, she picked up a new fear. She was so excited about a Reverse Mortgage, she began to fear she wouldn’t qualify. As you can see from the picture above, we alleviated those fears, and she qualified and got a new car.

It’s not safe for anyone to be broken down on the road and certainly not a lovely lady and her precious granddaughter.

A Reverse Mortgage really is an answer to a prayer for many seniors just like you.  It is a life-changing solution and an immediate burden eliminator.

The joy, relief and gratitude she felt is everlasting. Take a moment to imagine if, like Shirley, you no longer had to endure the uncertainty about your future, and living on a minimum income. Instead you, were enjoying peace of mind and greater joy a reverse mortgage can provide.
